Terms of Service

1. Agreement to terms

By creating an account or using the Vaasova platform at vaasova.com, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the platform. These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Vaasova, operated from Bangalore, India.

2. Description of service

Vaasova is a SaaS platform that helps property owners manage rental units in India. It provides tools for rent collection, tenant KYC verification, digital lease agreements, and maintenance coordination. Vaasova is a technology platform — we are not a real estate agent, property manager, legal advisor, or financial advisor.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. By using Vaasova, you represent that you meet these requirements.

4. User accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@vaasova.com if you suspect unauthorised access. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Subscriptions and payment

Vaasova is offered on a per-unit, per-month subscription basis. Current pricing plans are displayed on the pricing page. All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and exclusive of 18% GST unless stated otherwise.

• Payments are processed via Razorpay. By subscribing, you authorise Razorpay to charge your selected payment method.
• Annual subscriptions are non-refundable except as required by law or at our discretion.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.
• Failure to pay will result in suspension of your account after a 7-day grace period.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Vaasova for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any Indian law.
• Upload false, misleading, or fraudulent information about properties or tenants.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or resell any part of the platform.
• Use the platform to harass, threaten, or discriminate against tenants.
• Interfere with or disrupt the security or integrity of the platform.

7. KYC and identity verification

Vaasova facilitates Aadhaar and PAN verification through our third-party KYC partner IDfy. By using the KYC features, you confirm you have obtained the tenant's informed consent to collect and verify their identity documents. Vaasova is not responsible for the accuracy of results returned by the verification provider.

8. Digital agreements

Vaasova generates rental agreement templates for convenience. These templates do not constitute legal advice. You are solely responsible for ensuring your agreements comply with applicable state laws and the Registration Act, 1908. We recommend consulting a lawyer before executing high-value or long-duration agreements.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Vaasova's total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the platform shall not exceed the subscription fees you paid in the 3 months preceding the claim. Vaasova is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including lost rent, tenant disputes, or data loss caused by third-party service failures.

10. Intellectual property

All content, design, code, and branding on the Vaasova platform are owned by Vaasova or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the platform without written permission. You retain ownership of the data and documents you upload to the platform.

11. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your account with 14 days' notice for violations of these Terms, or immediately for serious violations such as fraud or illegal activity. Upon termination, you may export your data within 30 days before it is deleted.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bangalore, Karnataka. We encourage you to contact us first at hello@vaasova.com — most issues can be resolved quickly without formal proceedings.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
