1. Who we are

Vaasova (“we”, “our”, “us”) is a rental property management platform operated from Bangalore, India. Our registered domain is vaasova.com. You can reach us at hello@vaasova.com.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly and information generated through your use of the platform:

  • Account information: name, email address, mobile number, and password.
  • Property details: property address, unit count, rent amounts, and lease terms.
  • Tenant information: name, mobile number, email, and government identity documents (Aadhaar, PAN) collected during KYC verification.
  • Payment data: transaction IDs and payment status records. We do not store card or bank account numbers — all payment processing is handled by Razorpay.
  • Documents: signed lease agreements and uploaded property documents stored securely.
  • Usage data: log data, device information, IP address, and in-platform activity for debugging and improving the service.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve the Vaasova platform.
  • Send rent reminders, payment receipts, and lease notifications.
  • Verify tenant identity through our KYC partners.
  • Process rental payments via Razorpay.
  • Generate and store e-signed lease agreements.
  • Respond to your support queries.
  • Comply with applicable Indian laws and regulations.

4. Third-party services we use

Vaasova integrates with the following third-party services to deliver its features. Each service processes data subject to their own privacy policies:

  • Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
  • Razorpay — rent payment processing and payouts.
  • MSG91 — SMS and OTP delivery.
  • IDfy — Aadhaar and PAN identity verification for tenant KYC.
  • SignDesk — Aadhaar eSign for digital lease agreements.
  • Cloudflare R2 — secure document and media storage.
  • Sentry — error monitoring and performance tracking.

5. Data retention

We retain your account and transaction data for as long as your account is active and for up to 7 years after closure to comply with Indian financial and tax regulations. KYC documents are retained for the period required by applicable law. You may request deletion of non-statutory data by contacting us.

6. Data security

We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest, and row-level access controls so each user can only access their own data. No system is completely secure — if you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at hello@vaasova.com.

7. Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India), you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
  • Request erasure of your data where legally permissible.
  • Withdraw consent for data processing at any time.
  • Nominate a person to exercise rights on your behalf.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising cookies or sell your data to third parties.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. Continued use of Vaasova after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
